The Production Electrical Technician position will be responsible to install and wire 12-volt D.C. and 120/240 volt A.C. electrical components, fabricate custom wire harness in new production truck chassis, service and line bodies, aerials, derricks, cranes, lift gates etc...  Component installation and wiring to include chassis and body lighting, warning and auxiliary lighting, 12-volt hydraulic power units, transmission mounted power take off units, hydraulic power units, AC generators, DC to AC inverters, charging and auxiliary battery systems. 

Must have the ability to read electrical wiring schematics and differentiate wire colors. Experience in automotive and/ or heavy truck electrical systems, 120/240 volt A.C. inverter and/or generator electrical wiring a definite plus but not required. 

 

Qualifications: 2-3 years’ experience in truck chassis or similar related electrical installation or vehicle service repair in any areas of automotive, diesel truck/trailer, fork lift, crane or heavy equipment industries. We will also consider those with Technical schooling in the above areas with less than two years work experience. Some welding and fabrication skills are a strong must.  Any experience in hydraulics, chassis electrical and or chassis mechanical is a plus but not required. Basic hand tools are required for this position.  Physical and drug test required if candidate is hired.

 

Hours: Dayshift position Monday through Friday, 8 hours per day

Regular full-time employee hours are 7:00 am to 3:30 pm with scheduled overtime available.

Starting pay depending on experience $17.00 to $22.00 per hour. (Good work ethic, attitude and attendance record required.)

The successful candidate will be responsible for sales of all new products and application engineering of those products for our customers.   This includes management of all sales and application design personnel, the quote and bidding process, pricing of new and used trade in equipment and assignment of sales territories.  This leader will also represent the company at client and manufacturer events and be expected to be in the forefront of changing technology in the industry.  This position reports to the President.

Sales & Engineering Manager Qualifications:  Meet or exceed most of the following requirements.

 

  • Minimum three years sales experience
  • Familiarity with capital equipment a must and with aerial lift trucks a plus
  • Bachelors or associate degree in Engineering Technology with coursework in Business or equivalent.
  • Experience in AutoCAD and Windows a must.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • The ability to work closely with entire leadership team.
  • The ability to analyze work tasks and suggest process improvements to become more efficient.
  • Looking for a self starter with a positive attitude.
  • Valid Driver’s License required.
